Title:
Blue Hole
Project: Experience of Underwater Cave
Abstract:
This simulation
is about an underwater cave experience through oculus rift.
Target Audience:
University
Student (Age 18-24)
Goal:
The goal of this simulation is to experience
underwater cave diving. Cave diving is a dangerous exploration that need a
lot of experience and cost. But through this simulation, audience will
experience the most dangerous underwater cave. Besides that, the next goal is
to educate user the proper technics on how to dive in an underwater cave.
When come to diving, skill become very important but a proper diving skill
will make thing easier.
The third goal
is to discover the environment around underwater cave. Learning about the
environment is one of the most important aspects when exploring the cave, so that
we are able to gain knowledge on the surroundings, which includes the type of
flora and living. The last goal is to understand mystery behind underwater
cave. There is some hidden mystery behind this simulation, which hopes to
give out a grand-explorer feel, like the mysterious Pyramids of Giza. We can
only find out the mysteries by exploring them. By the end of this simulation,
hopefully this will explain and answer all the users’ questions on the
mystery of underwater cave.

Description:
1.
Subject Method:
Subject above is call the
blue hole. The blue hole only shows a hole in the surface but have a mystery
under the hole.
Benchmark:

Look & Style:
Figure above show
different type of game style. The first at the top is reality style that mean
all the model and environment will follow the reality. Next type of style
will be half reality half virtual. Last will be full stylize.

Game-Play:
Figure
above show the type of game play. My simulation will like above in first
person view with both human hand. The view will like the next sample with a
goggle at the side. Last but not least, there will be a camera mode available
like the last sample to take some footage.

Interactions:

Figure above show the type of GUI that my simulation will have a
bit similar. The type of GUI that will appeared in my simulation will be
inventory system like the second picture. Besides that, the menu system will
be like the first picture.

Input: Xbox 360 controller
Output: HMD (Oculus Rift)
Description:
Sample for level 01
The first level
will be an introduction section by using flash back. This will begin with
user and some friend where inside a lecture hall. The scene will be look like
sample above, but only one lecture with some student. This first level is the
explanation about the rule and regulation, history behind the word SCUBA,
History about Blue Hole and other important knowledge before go underwater
cave diving.
